For the past 11 years the OP Invitational has brought top competition to Dublin, Ohio for a soccer tournament that is like no other in excitement and quality. The 2009 tournament promises to be another exceptional event.

Attention Referees!
   
Ohio Premier is looking for motivated experienced referees to officiate in this year's Invitational tournament.   Please consider being a guest referee if you will be attending the tournament.    Hotel accommodations available for referees travelling as a group from outside of the Columbus area.     Click here for 2009 online application.   Email opitournament@gmail.com if you have any questions!

OP INVITATIONAL MAIL IN REGISTRATION REMINDER!!

Due to the success of the process in 2008, for the second year in a row, the OP Invitational will go to a MAIL IN REGISTRATION ONLY!!  

Below you will find instructions for the mail-in registration. Please check thoroughly that you have all the necessary forms. If a player is missing a form they will not be eligible to play. Incomplete packets will not be accepted.

All items must be received no later than Friday September 4, 2009. We will not accept registration information via fax. Please send all registration materials the the address below:

If registering under USYS, you will need to provide the following:
1. One copy of the official stamped and vaidated roster to leave with tournament. (Roster frozen once sent)
2. A copy of the validated player cards, on both sides, rostered players and guest players.
3. A copy of the validated Coaches pass card on both sides, one for each, if applicable. Maximum of 3.
4. Copy of Tournament Liability form which is signed by all players and a parent or guardian. (See "Forms" on Tournament Site)
5. Copy of Travel permit if your team is from outside of OSYSA.
6. Copy of Guest Player roster approved and validated by the state in which the player is registered.
7. Copy of both sides of the of the Guest player card, maxium of 4 guest players.
8. Hotel Form - all teams must complete and send in.

If registering under US Club Soccer you will need to provide the following:
1. A copy o the approved oficial roster, stamped and validated (roster frozen once sent)
2. A copy of both sides of the validated Player Pass.
3. A copy of both sides of the validated Coaches Pass for each Coach, maximum of 3.
4. A copy of Tournament Liability Release form signed by all players and a parent or guardian. (See "Forms" on Tournament Site)
5. Copy of the Guest Player Roster approved and validated by the state where the player is registered.
6. Copy of both sides of the guest player cards-maximum of 4 players.
7. Hotel form - all teams must complete and send in.

OHIO PREMIER ADOPTS STAY TO PLAY HOUSING POLICY FOR OP INVITATIONAL 2009!

As the OP Invitational tournament continues to grow, so does the demand for quality, affordable housing. To assure that there is an adequate number of rooms available for the 2009 OPI,  the tournament committee has instituted the following procedures. Please read carefully and adhere to the stated deadlines.

1. Please contact a hotel directly from the list of approved properties on the tournament website to make your reservations. The tournament committee has arranged for special deals for tournament weekend which will not be honored thru reservations made thru reservation centers or hotel websites. All teams are responsible for securing their own reservations. We do not work with a housing bureau.

2. All rooming lists with credit card information are due to the appropriate hotel not later than 8/21/09. Reservations not made by that date are an indication that you will no longer need those rooms and they will be released & rebooked.

3. Any reservation cancelations made after 8/28/09 will result in the first nights room and tax being charged to the credit card number that is attached to the cancelled reservation.

4. There is a two night minimum stay for the tournament.

It is the committees hope that these new guidelines will assure that there will be a sufficient number of rooms available for all of our tournament guests. Thank you for your help in making the 2009 OP Invitational one of the best tournaments in the midwest.
