Greens Fourth in Manchester United Premier Cup
May 27, 2009: In Portland Oregon, the girls had a great run against the best competition in the country. After adjusting to the style of game that 20 minute halves promoted, the Greens skillfully battled their way through their preliminary rounds and into the semi-final against Real Southern California (Real So Cal). After regulation time, the game was tied and on to penalty kick’s, where the girls fell short making the finals by one pk! Congratulations to the girls, fourth out of the nationallty ranked field was excellent!
U.S. Youth Soccer State Cup Champions!

14Greens Crowned Hammer Cup Champions
April 5, 2009: The girls won the U14 Hammer Cup Championship with a 1-0 win over Michigan Rush. Enroute to the championship the girls ammassed an 11-2 goal advantage. Nice!

Only U14 Ohio Team To Qualify For Premier Division of MRL
January 15, 2009: Winning the Fall MRL (Midwest Regional League) East-Red Division has qualified the girls to play in the Premier Division of the league this Spring. They are the only U14 team from Ohio to qualify. The Greens join the winners of the other Fall MRL Divisions in a "Champions Take All" league of Who’s who in midwest girls soccer. Winner of the Premier Division gains an automatic berth in the Regional Tournament Qualifier for the U.S. Youth Soccer National Championships!
Unbeaten, Untied Greens Capture MRL Title
Oct 16, 2008: The girls gained another win over Blast FC in their final league game to capture the East-Red Division of the prestigious Midwest Regional League. The girls were unbeaten, untied, 8-0 record, 19 goals for, 3 goals against, 4 games by shutout...congratulation to a great group of girls!
Greens Triumphant at Mead Cup
Sep 2, 2008: The girls won their first tournament this past weekend in Dayton with Chris King at the helm. With a 5-2 goal advantage in round robin play, the girls entered the semi-finals against Warren County, coming away with a solid win. Then it was Michigan Gators in the finals. The Gators played a deep defensive formation, wary to give up any goals.. The OP coaches made adjustments which paid off big dividends, and the girls executed the plan, winning in overtime 1-0. Congratulations, the girls are off to a great start of the season!
