Girls Claim National Championship!!
The U12Greens won US Club Soccer’s National Championship in Burlington NC this week, going undefeated in pool play (2-1 vs. Pittsburg Strikers, 2-1 vs. Lady Strikers NJ, and 4-1 vs. Glendora FC from California). The girls faced Brentwood (TN) in the finals, and were not to be denied, coming away with a 3-0 victory to claim the championship. WOW!!

Champions of US Club Soccer National Cup Region D
The girls traveled to Indianapolis this past weekend to compete in the US Club Soccer National Cup Region D Qualifier. There are 8 regional qualifiers across the nation, with the winner of each gaining a berth in the US Club Soccer National Cup, which will be held end of July in Burlington, NC. In their three group pool games, the girls put together a 2-0-1 record and a 9-1 goal advantage, to gain a spot in the finals against Eclipse Select (Chicago). A great game between two teams from nationally ranked clubs ended with the Greens winning 1-0. The girls now are setting their sites on Burlington NC and the National Cup to be held in three weeks. Congratulations!

Ballgirls shine at USA vs. China
The girls were honored to be chosen to be ballgirls at the pre World Cup friendly game between USA and China. Truly exciting to be up close and personal with the USA and China players!

STATE CUP CHAMPIONS!
U12 Greens came away with the Ohio South State Championship on this Mother’s Day weekend (girls w/Mom’s above). The girls came into the semi-finals this past Saturday (3 wins in their preliminary games) to play Classics Hammer FC. After a very physical game the Greens came away with a 3-0 victory to move on to the finals against Warren County (NationalSoccer Rankings #10 and defending U11 State Cup Champions). In a well played tough game, the score was tied 1-1 after regulation and two overtimes. In the pk shootout, the girls convincingly put the game away for their first State Cup Championship. OUTSTANDING JOB ALL YEAR BY COACH KEVIN AND HIS STAFF (as always)!

Girls Repeat as Buckeye Premier League Champions
The girls followed up their Fall Buckeye Premier League Championship by adding the Spring league title as well, with a 24-2 goal advantage, 4 of 6 shutouts, on the way to a 5-0-1 record.

Greens Play Their Way to the Top in CASL Raleigh Shootout Tournament
The girls travelled to Raleigh North Carolina this past weekend and captured the Elite Division Championship. They compiled a perfect 4-0 record, defeating 2 NationalSoccerRanking Top 20 Teams (Bethesda Freedom #11, VSA Heat #15)along the way, amassing an 11-1 goal advantage and 3 shutouts. Great finish to the Fall season!

The girls are Fall Buckeye Premier League Champions, with a 27-1 goal advantage, 5 of 6 shutouts, on the way to a 6-0 record.

U12 Greens Defeat Top Ranked Team and Claim Cincy Challenge Tournament Championship
The girls won the U12 top division of the Cincy Challenge this past weekend. They played great defense allowing no goals in four games, outscoring their opponents 14-0, and defeated the NationalSoccerRanking Number One ranked team (Warren County United) in the finals to take the Championship!

Girls Reach Finals in Chicago’s Best of Midwest Tourney
The 12 Greens traveled to the windy city for the first time to compete in one of the top midwest tournaments. In the preliminary rounds the girls compiled a 4-0 record which included a 17-1 goal advantage and 3 shutouts to gain a birth in the finals against Tora Booyah of Oklahoma, a top 10 NationalSoccerRanking team. A game of extreme quick play ended in a 0-0 tie, two overtimes ended likewise, so on to penalty kicks, in which Tora Booyah gained the edge.
