Wow! What a holiday weekend! Congratulations to the U11 Green Team for finishing as Finalists at the 8th Annual FC DELCO Players Cup in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania! The ladies played against some great Region I competition under hot and humid conditions. These were all teams which they never seen play before including Howell Spirit (NJ), Lighthouse Express (EPA), and PDA Slammers (NJ). Way to go OP!

Congratulations to the U11 girls as they advanced their way to become the OSYSA 2007 State Cup Finalists! The girls played some tough games these past two weekends, including the final match which was decided after regulation, double overtime, and penalty kicks. The U11’s have much to be proud of and have laid the foundation for great things to come in the future!
The U11 Green Team would like to say thank you to all the OP coaches, families, and girls who stayed to support the U11’s on the sidelines. Your presence was very much appreciated!! Congratulations to all the other OP teams who represented our club so well these past two weekends - great job girls!!

The U11 Greens reigned victorious and were crowned champions this past weekend at the US Club Soccer - Ohio Cup II! After a rough start on a cold Saturday morning, the girls worked together and continuously made improvements in their game throughout the weekend. Congratulations ladies! We are very proud of all of you!

Congratulations to the U11 Green Team for going undefeated in Fall MOSSL league play! The girls outscored their opponents 35-5. Each of the girls had the opportunity to play different positions throughout the season and are becoming more and more comfortable with the larger size field. Great job ladies for providing us with some very memorable moments!

Champions! The U11 Green Team topped the 11 v 11 division of their age group this past weekend at the Ohio Premier Invitational. The girls had some tough competition in their bracket, playing the Pacesetters, PASA Purple, and a rematch with Cleveland United. The team earned an opportunity to play fellow club team OP Black in the championship game. Both teams both gave it their all on a hot afternoon. Congratulations to both OP Green and OP Black! Thanks to all the parents who volunteered to help during the tournament!

The U11 Green’s enjoyed playing some very good competition in the Mead CUSA Cup tournament in Dayton, Ohio over Labor Day weekend. The girls advanced into the semi finals as a wild card (thanks to some help from the U11 White team!) and matched up once again with the MI Gators Orange before being eliminated. The game was a good preparation as the team begins league play this week.

The U11 Green Team had a great weekend at the Arsenal Challenge Cup! This was the girls first real experience playing on the larger field 11 v 11. The girls played hard to win their bracket and were matched against the MI Gators Orange in the championship game. The final outcome was decided by a shoot-out after playing regulation and double overtime. Great job girls!
