U10Green Wins Murray Cup Championship

May 27, 2008 The girls continued their comeback to championship form they began 10 days ago, by winning the Thomas C. Murray Memorial Cup Championship in Carmel Indiana over this Memorial Day weekend.  Facing teams from across the regioin, the girls amassed a 4-0 record, 17-6 goal advantage on their way to the championship crown.

 

 

Greens Finalists in League Tournament

May 17, 2008 Despite unusual injuries plaguing the team all Spring long, the girls bounced back from a challenging league season to finish the MOSSL League Tournament as runner-up. With a tournament record of 3-1, the girls were second only to tournament champion Pickerington. Their three tournament wins were against teams that they either had lost to or tied during the regular season.

OP Girls Start Spring with Tournament Win

April 6, 2008 The U10Greens travelled to Cincinnati this weekend and brought their skills, coming away with the Blue Chip Hammer Cup Tournament Championship. Four games, four wins, 20-4 goal advantage...brilliant start to the Spring soccer season.

 Girls Win Both Fall League Season and Tournament!

Oct 22, 2007 The Girls finished in first place in the MOSSL Fall League and MOSSL Fall Tournament. During League play the girls outscored their opponents 59-14 on their way to a 9-1 season. In the MOSSL Tournament the girls cranked it up another notch, outscoring their opponents 12-4, and avenged their only loss during the regular season by winning the championship game against an excellent Westerville team 4-3. On to winter training at our new indoor facility!

OP Invitational Champions

The Girls finished at the top of the A Division in the Ohio Premier Invitational this past weekend under sunny skies and cool temperatures, perfect for soccer. With wins in group play over Perrysburg (5-1), Worthington United (7-4), and Bloomfield (5-1), the Greens entered the finals against Ohio Elite. Both teams represented their clubs well, displaying technical skill and speed. In the end it was OP with a win 4-0. Congratulations go out to both teams.

Greens Finalist in Fall Season Opener

The girls traveled to Cincinnati to compete in their first tournament of the season (Arsenal Challenge Cup) and compete they did! After compiling a 14-1 goal advantage in group play, the girls gained a birth in the finals against Warren County United Blue. This time out it was Warren County in overtime 4-3 after a competitive game.
