2007 Adidas Warrior Classic Champions!

The girls came to play, and came away with the U9 Gold Division Championship over this Memorial Day weekend in Dayton. OP Greens were a perfect 5-0 with a 20-6 goal advantage. The Finals pitted OP against Warren County United Blue. It was a well played and competitive game, and in the end OP finished with a 3-2 victory. A great end to a fun season that has seen the girls gaining leaps and bounds in their development.

Greens Win MOSSL Tournament! 

The U9’s won in commanding fashion in the league ending trounament, with a 4-0-0 record, 23-6 goal advantage, and defeating Pickerington 6-3 in the final. Great end to a fun and wonderful season. Congrats and thanks to coach Becky for all she does for the girls...

U9’s Finalists in U10 Division of Ohio Elite Spring Classic

 The girls played up to U10, playing 8v8 for this tournament. They had a bit of an adjustment to the larger format, but under expert guidance improved to gain a slot in the Finals. The finals match showed their improvement, as they met their opening game opponent a second time. Instead of the 7-1 defeat from game 1, they lost a very close 3-0! Well done girls...signs of good things to come!

Greens Capture Both Fall MOSSL League and Tournament Titles

 The girls had a perfect 10-0 record in league play this Fall to capture the regular season championship, and then this past weekend went 4-0 in tournament play to capture the league tournament!  Just goes to show what hard work, great coaching, great club atmosphere, and having fun all the while can do...congratulations!

U9 Green Crowned Ohio Premier Invitational Champions!

 

The U9’s went undefeated in the tournament play to capture their first Premier Level tournament, as the coaches rotated the girls through the different positions for development and experience. The girls compiled a 4-0 record on the way to the championship. Well done!

Girls Reach Semi-Finals in Mead/Cusa Cup

The girls reached the semi-finals of the Mead/CUSA Cup over Labor Day weekend. They gained 3 well played wins in their preliminary games (5-0, 1-0, 2-0). The girls switched around in the games, playing all positions, as it should be with U9 soccer. They can look forward to great gains down the road...

Greens Experience Success in Opening Tournament!

The girls started their 2006 season with a trip to Cincinnati for the Sycamore Arsenal Cup Challenge. This was the first top level competition for over half the girls and the first time they have played competitively together. The girls played a possession and passing game resulting in three shutouts and a birth in the finals against Warren County United. The final game was as fast and furious as you will see at U9, and after regulation the score was tied 2-2. Two 5 minute overtime periods were dead even until the final minutes when Warren County scored twice to take the win. Congrats to both teams to a well played game!
