2011/2012 INDOOR FACILITY INFORMATION
OP Eagles Families,
The winter season is once again upon us, so we wanted to take a minute to share with you some of the changes taking place at the indoor facility. The changes are to ensure you and your child a safe and positive experience at our facility. Please take a moment to read the information below. If everyone follows these simple rules, we will once again have a successful winter at the OP Eagles Training Facility!
ENTRANCE/EXIT: The club will be adding signage to the entrance/exit, so it’s more clearly marked. We have asked AEP to replace the light at the corner of Cosgray/161 (which they have done). We will also be placing several large boulders at the entrance/exit to enhance the appearance and give everyone a focal point when entering/exiting the facility.
LIGHTING: The club is currently installing more lighting in the parking lot, next to the facility. This will ensure the safety of our kids and families as they enter and exit the building.
PARKING: The parking situation is not ideal, but if you follow a few simple rules, traffic flow will be much smoother and safer.
RULES:
- PARK IN DESIGNATED AREAS/ SPACES ONLY!
- NO PARKING ALONG EITHER SIDE OF THE DRIVEWAY! NO EXCEPTIONS!
- NO PARKING IN THE GRASS, UNLESS OTHERWISE DESIGNATED!
**NOTE** - There will be signage clearly marking the property. It is important that ALL of you follow ALL of the rules.
Besides the main parking lot, next to the facility, we have two more designated parking areas for our families this year. The first is the grassy area just in front of the storage garage. The second is the paved parking lot, near the main entrance to the facility (both will be clearly marked). Parents are encouraged to use these two “cell phone” or “satellite” lots when possible. Simply drop your son/daughter off at the front doors and then park in the “cell phone” or “satellite” lots (if there aren’t any spots available in the main lot). Once your child’s training session is over, they can call you and you can pick them up at the front doors. This will allow the traffic to flow smoothly. Again, if you follow these simple rules, your experience will be much more enjoyable and safer!
